I'm in my final fashion magazine to research, which is Allure magazine -- which is striking, for sure. The cover is light and has a close-up of model -- like most of their cover photos -- which really emphasizes the brand as it is a fashion/beauty magazine, showing the face of the model. The color all-around the magazine is a white-grayish background -- complimenting the entire magazine as the cover also had a color close to the hue inside it and the texts are regular, bold, and easy to read because it's not too small. Also, I did notice the cover feature for Allure is in all caps and in a different font, which to quite unconventional from the other magazines I've read. There are articles that talk about beauty lessons (of course), beauty empowerment for women that aren't traditionally under societal beauty standards (like a story of a woman with a beard, etc.), and an article about the cover photo model. Their advertisements are, as we know as beauty-related, Chanel, Morphe, Becca by Jaclyn Hill, Dior, Dona Karan, Burberry, and many others. The advertisements, although, are quite limited, which is good and not overwhelming at all. Each photo in the magazine is incorporated with different styles on makeup, showing beauty as a main aspect -- same with the table of contents. he National Magazine Award for Design in 1994, the Editorial Excellence Award from Folio in 2001, the Circulation Excellence Award from Circulation Management in 2001, and others. Their distribution number, like Essence magazine, also increased dramatically over the years that they've been in business, where it reached to about 1-1.6 million.
